Some of the special effects from back in the 60’s and 70’s are pretty cheesy compared to what they can do today, but it’s still amazing they were able to do them at all back then.
The most amazing one I can think of is the jump to lightspeed in the original Star Wars movie. It got a standing ovation!
No, I still haven’t seen the new one yet. I will in a few more days, though.
