We have a spare older refrigerator out in our garage and it stopped cooling very well.
It wasn’t completely bad. It just wasn’t keeping the food that cold, so today I pulled the motor out and did some repairs.
It’s amazing how much dirt and things were stuck under there.
The fan was slightly bent and the fan blades were hung on the side of the frame so I pulled it out, removed all the dirt and put some oil on the bearings.
Now it works like an older refrigerator that still cools.
Hopefully, it will work until after the current crisis is over and it becomes safe to go out shopping again.
