Fish or Cut Bait
I’ve always liked learning about idioms and their history.
For example, the phrase “fish or cut bait” actually dates back to the 19th century and essentially means to hurry up and make a decision and either do something or leave it alone.
It can also mean “lead, follow or get out of the way.”
