There’s an old oak tree in a park where I sometimes go for walks. I used to sit on a bench under that tree to read.
I noticed with some sadness that they were getting ready to take the tree down. They had already removed most of the branches, so I asked them why.
They said the tree was rotting inside, and it needed to be taken down before it fell and hurt someone. Then they told me there would be another tree planted to take its place.
I felt better after they told me that.
Here’s today’s word search puzzle.
Enjoy!
