Sometimes little details make all the difference.
I kept feeling like something was missing from a book I’m writing. I just didn’t know what.
Then I found a character questionnaire with about a hundred questions to ask about your character.
Question 86 did it for me. Filled in the missing piece. I rewrote three chapters and outlined five more, all in about nine hours.
It was a minor detail yet it had profound effects.
Like they taught us in the Navy, pay attention to the details.
