I went by the local thrift store just to look around, and I saw a nice arrangement of china roses. I was thinking of buying them, when a lady walked up and grabbed them.
Boy, that was rude! The fact I was looking at them and was actually touching them should have been a clue to her that I was interested in them.
No, she didn’t ask, she just grabbed. I think she wanted them so bad she was afraid to ask.
Then again, she had her cell phone shoved up against her ear and was yacking away a mile a minute so probably had both brain cells busy and didn’t see me.
Sigh. I miss the days when people were actually polite to each other.
