History teaches us of the Iron Age but I have a different take.
It’s called ironing some old clothes with a cranky steam iron that won’t make steam.
I remembered how my mother used to iron clothes before the steam iron came along. She had a bottle she would put water in, and there were holes in the cap.
She would sprinkle water on the clothes and it would turn into steam when the iron hit it.
I couldn’t find a bottle like she had, so I finally picked out a water bottle I had sitting in the recycle box, pulled out my drill and made some holes.
Once I accomplished this and had spent an age ironing the clothes, my wife walked in the door, saw what I was doing, and told me where to find the good steam iron.
Sigh… If only she had come home a few hours earlier…
Anyway, here’s today’s word search puzzle.
Enjoy!
