Strange Daze – Sunday’s Oddball Word Search Puzzle

Today has been a strange day that has left me in a daze.
Some idiot in my neighborhood set up their home wireless and put an over sized booster on it, probably so he can access it from France.
The problem is, it was blocking my wireless.
Now, while my main computer connections are hard wire, we use wireless for things like watching NetFlix, iPad, etc.
I finally drug out a sniffer and found his wireless, and it showed massive interference with my system. A db reading showed him way, way above the legal limit so I hooked up a home brew directional antenna and went hunting.
Mr. Power Ranger was nine houses away. I politely told him that he was broadcasting at too high of a level and it was interfering with other people’s wireless. He seemed to think that it wasn’t his problem, until I mentioned that the FCC could impose a fine up to $250,000 a day for violating their regulations.
His snide response was “How can they prove it was me?” When I told him I found him using just a laptop and a loop of wire for an antenna, and that the FCC had way more sophisticated equipment than I did, and that it would be very easy for them to pinpoint him, especially if they got a tip to their hotline.
That ended the conversation pretty quickly, and sure enough, within a few minutes his signal strength had dropped down to something reasonable. Problem solved for now.
None of this has anything to do with today’s word search puzzle other than it made it extremely late.
