I finally tabulated the results of feedback on using the default dark gray color for found words in the word search puzzle, and the results are in.
Only a few people liked the dark gray color. Just under half of the rest of the responses were for using different colors, and slightly more than half (by two, to be exact,) wanted gray but lighter shades of gray to be used.
So, I will be using lighter shades of gray AND will be mixing it up with some different colors too.
Today’s puzzle will start out with a lighter shade of gray while I work on figuring out what colors work best and make it easier to tell when a letter is used by more than one word.
Enjoy and thank you to all who wrote in!
