I bought a solar-powered charger online. You use it to charge things like your cell phone, etc.
The theory behind the solar part is that you use the solar cells to give it an extra boost when you don’t have power by using sunlight.
What they don’t tell you is that a full day’s sunlight on this thing’s tiny solar panel will only charge it about 1/4 of the way, which is only good enough for a partial or single charge of your phone.
The good news is I can get a folding solar panel that will fully charge it in a couple of hours and I can use it to charge my phone six times on a single charge.
I figure we are in for one good snowfall next winter and we will probably lose power for a couple of days just because it’s been a couple of years.
OK, on to today’s word search puzzle!
