Today’s word search puzzle comes from the current list of seventh grade spelling words.
I would have used the list from way back when I was in the seventh grade, but there were a couple of problems with it.
1. The English language didn’t have nearly as many words in it as today.
2. There were only 18 letters in the alphabet.
3. Paper hadn’t been invented yet so we were using charcoal on bark to write with, then we burned the bark to keep us warm.
If you don’t believe me, just ask my kids. They swear I’m that old.
