I generally don’t go to yard sales. Estate sales, yes. Yard sales, no.
I had to go into work Saturday morning instead of sleeping in when I spotted a yard sale along the way.
I don’t know why, but I decided to stop for a minute.
Sometimes things just work out fine. I have four books of a five-volume set and I’ve never been able to find the missing book.
Well, at least not in a readable condition.
Sure enough, they had the missing book so I bought it and was happy to get it.
When I got home from work I wanted to put it with the other four, only I couldn’t find them. I spent an hour looking for them.
I finally asked my wife if she knew where they were.
She did.
Since I only four of the five volumes, she donated them to the thrift store about six months back.
Sigh…
At least I’ll get to read the book before it gets donated to hopefully be reunited with it’s missing siblings.
