There have been loud noises all day today.
No, my house isn’t haunted, or at least not anymore.
We used to have a ghost that kept turning on our TV in our bedroom in the middle of the night.
The problem was, we had one of those decoder boxes to turn digital signals into analog, and she hadn’t figured out how to turn it on.
We eventually got rid of that TV and for a while, all was great!
Then we bought one of those digital flat-screen ones.
Took her a month to figure out how to turn it on!
That was bad enough but then she figured out how to change the channels! She seemed to like the shopping channel the most.
I finally solved it by plugging the TV into a surge strip and just use that to turn it off at night.
Of course, we still haven’t figured out how the one in our daughter’s room is being turned on now while she is still asleep.
Oh, the loud noises were just things like the neighbors fighting, the guy running a car repair service working on a car that backfires, and the box the cat knocked off the table.
Forgot one – Bob. He found some unused fireworks in his shed and didn’t want his wife to know.
Someone should have told him to take them outside to set them off.
The fire trucks were very loud.
