I have four volumes of a really old five-volume set of books.
I’ve been looking for the missing book, book three of five, to be exact, for years.
There was an estate sale going just a few blocks away from my day job and I decided to check it out at lunch.
Did I find the book?
No, I did not.
I did start a conversation with a woman looking at the old books that were there, though.
At one point I mentioned what I was looking for. She asked me a couple of questions about it, then said she had bought what could be my missing book a few weeks ago.
I made arrangements to meet her to check it out and possibly buy it from her.
Nope, it wasn’t what I was looking for.
It was, however, a nice book and she offered to sell it to me for twenty bucks. I gave her thirty because she was so nice.
The point of this story?
Turned out the book was worth more than that, although I didn’t know it at the time.
Yay me!
Just shows what you can find when you search for something else.
Speaking of searching, here’s today’s word search puzzle.
Enjoy!
