My writing suddenly took off last night. I was tired and about to go to bed when a story idea popped into my head.
“Two minutes. That’s all it will take me to jot down this idea and then I can go to bed,” I thought.
Wrong answer!
An hour and a half later, my eyes were blurry and I couldn’t think straight, yet I had the genesis of a (hopefully) good story.
We’ll see how I feel about it after I’ve let it simmer for a day or two.
