You Can Do Magic!
That’s what it said on the back of the comic book, so when I was nine I sent off a dollar for a book on how to do Real Magic!
Turned out it was a few card tricks and a thing with a button and some thread.
Just tricks, no magic.
Darnit! I was so looking forward to turning that mean kid at school into a frog!
Oh well. Maybe next time.
