Just a quick safety tip if you own a cell phone: Don’t go plugging it into strange cables or USB chargers or charging ports.
Seems that they now make charging cables with extra chips built-in designed to hijack your phone.
USB chargers can likewise be modified.
If you must use USB charging ports at places like hotels, airports, etc. then invest a few bucks in a device called a “Juice Jacker” or something similar.
You plug it between the end of your cable and the USB port and it only allows power to pass through and blocks all data.
I just ordered one after a Facebook friend of mine showed how her phone was hacked while traveling.
